Joakim Eskildsen

Joakim Eskildsen is a danish photographer i came across a few months ago and fell completely in love with one of his projects in which he portraits the life of gypsies in Europe and India.

he has won many prices and awards, held numerous exhibitions and collaborated with the best in the field. his website is truly inspirational, be sure to check the section The roma journeys. breathtaking talent in capturing the everyday moments of special individuals – you can just feel that is his perspective.  you can also buy a beautiful book with a collection of photographies. saw it in one bookstore in milan, but didn’t buy it at the time. wish i did.
